Only 2500 copies of this impressive view were printed for the Santa Fe Railroad Company, who purchased the painting from Moran in 1912. Although issued with full margins, the print is often found (as it is here) trimmed to the image and mounted to accommodate a stock frame and to resemble a painting. See Anderson, et. al.
